CSI is specialized in modelling which producing fully coordinated, Architectural, clash-detected mechanical, electrical and public health service drawings for the construction and infrastructure sectors.

CSI BIM Scanning Services

Incorporated with CSI survey team a tailored survey for each project, CSI provide more than geometric scanning it also include the engineering part by surveying the project systems and equipment and reflecting the parameter on the final BIM drawing.  

Other parameter can be integrated such as thermal imaging and an energy audit survey during the project scanning which can be implemented in an energy modeling projects 

Laser scanning is the most wide spread technology used for conversion to as built models of existing structures or buildings under construction. It is an efficient technique in which the actual site conditions can be efficiently monitored and made into compliance.

Infrared inspection or Thermography, is used throughout industry as a key diagnostic tool for  finding problems. Infrared inspections are a non-destructive, non-contact and a cost effective way to detect and document defects

For projects where construction is ongoing, red markup drawings are provided according to the recorded dimensions after construction and the model is update according the same.

3D Scanning Process

For existing structures, laser scanning is carried out and the point cloud is converted into as built information rich models through BIM Modelling. For construction under progress, regular laser scanning is done at different stages of the project to ensure that the model is corrected with on site progress in a stage-wise manner. Also, it helps to record the MEP components which are hidden after construction and do the relevant changes related to the site

Energy-modeling is the virtual or computerized simulation of a building or complex that focuses on energy consumption, utility bills and life cycle costs of various energy related items such as air conditioning, lights and hot water. 

It is also used to evaluate the payback of green energy solutions like solar panels and photovoltaics, wind turbines
